From TVF to BELU Foods: The Evolution of Flavor

It all started in 2020. We were The Vegan Factory (TVF), a small team with a big mission: to break myths and prove that plant-based food could be more than just an alternative… it could be a delicious choice. They told us plant-based food was bland, that it could never match the flavor and texture of traditional options... We took on the challenge!

In our kitchen, we experimented relentlessly until we created products that could surprise even the most skeptical. Crispy egg rolls, perfectly melty cheese, juicy asada… Every creation had one goal: for you to take the first bite, forget it was plant-based, and simply think, "This is incredible!"

Restaurants, bars, and customers have confirmed it. We understand that flavor is everything, and our products speak for themselves. But growth means evolution. And today, we take the next step: TVF is now BELU Foods.

My Story

Chef Mario Vazquez's passion for cooking began at a young age, growing up in the kitchen alongside his father, a talented chef who inspired his love for the culinary arts. He later honed his skills at the Institute of Culinary Education in NYC, earning a degree in Health Supportive Culinary Arts. This education provided him with extensive knowledge of plant-based and vegan cuisine, a holistic approach to food, and the ability to cater to diverse dietary needs.

Along his journey, Mario discovered the incredible benefits of plant-based food—not only for health and flavor but also as a conscious way to reduce his environmental impact. Today, his commitment to innovation and sustainability drives our ever-evolving menu, featuring fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients to create delicious, high-quality offerings for everyone.
